Recently I've started shooting subjects outside the categories that have comprised my work to date. Included are vintage signs, like the ones below. More will be added in time.
These columns are from the Union Square subway station. I happened on them just as the MTA was scraping them clean in preparation for a new ad campaign. Poster fragments commingled with layers of chipped paint to create startingly beautiful forms, textures and colors. This is "public, installation" art at its best!
